2019 CureFest for Childhood Cancer
September 23, 2019
Three years ago, the Swirls Family attended our very first CureFest For Childhood Cancer. CureFest has become one of our most treasured family traditions. Each year becomes more special, powerful, moving, and memorable. The connections we have made at CureFest have become our family. They are the greatest blessings in our lives.
CureFest is a weekend filled with beautiful performances, powerful stories, smiles, tears, hugs, rallying to the capital, an incredible candlelight vigil, and a weekend to honor our warriors, our fighters, our families, and our angels.
This years CureFest was one we will forever remember, and we already can’t wait to reunite with our family again at CureFest 2020. There are no words to express how much it means to us to see Swirls traveling all around the world and his story being shared.
Thank you to our Swirls Family and friends for continuing Swirls’ legacy. Thank you to the CureFest Team, Dena Sherwood, Kristen Alexander, & Mike Gillette, for all of their heart and nonstop hard work to make this weekend the best that it can be. You all are true angels on Earth.
To Mama Swirls and all of the auntie Swirls, thank you for making this possible. The meetings, organization, creation of the Swirls Wheel. We are so blessed to have the best Swirls Team leading our way.
Together we are One Voice against Childhood Cancer. We are truly stronger together and will not stop until a cure is found for our kids. The Childhood Cancer Community is so special. A force to be reckoned with. Though we may live miles apart, our hearts and our fight continue as One.
